From November 1st to 3rd, 2013, hosted by Historical Research editorial department of Social Sciences in China Press and co-hosted by Institute of Northwest Historical Environmental and Social Economic Development Studies, and School of History and Culture, Shanxi Normal University, 7th Historiography Forum was held in Xi’an. 30-odd scholars from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Renmin University of China, Nankai University, Fudan University, Northwest University, Fujian Normal University, Shanghai University, Shanghai Normal University, Jiangxi Normal University, Central China Normal University made a discussion about the core subject “Cross and Dialogue: Multiple Disciplinary Methods and Historical Studies”. Professor Peng Nansheng and Professor Zheng Chenglin from our institute were invited to attend the forum. Professor Zheng Chenglin delivered a report titled “The Study of Macao Commercial History: Review and Prospect”.
