Lecturer: Professor Yu Heping
Lecturer Introduction: Professor Yu Heping, a native of Ningbo, Zhejiang, was born on October 30, 1948. He graduated from the History Department of Peking University in August 1976. In December 1988, he graduated from the Institute of History of Central China Normal University with a Ph.D. in history and enjoyed special government allowance of the State Council. He is the author ofThe Chamber of Commerce and China's Early Modernization,The Course of Modernization in China, Survey in Comparison: the Research on Early China Modernization, etc. Up to now, he has published various academic works and papers of about 3.6 million words at home and abroad, including 9 kinds of works, 5 kinds of information books, 3 kinds of translations, and about 80 papers. His main research interests are the socio-economic history of modern China and the history of China's modernization.
