From October 24th to 25th, 2013, co-organized by cross-straits, “Symposium on Sun Yat-sen and Song Qingling” was successfully held in Zijin Mountain, Nanjing. The symposium, co-hosted by China Song Qingling Foundation, Nanjing University and Taiwan Zhongshan Academic Cultural Foundation, was the second cross-strait co-organized symposium on Sun Yat-sen and Song Qingling held in Mainland China since the first symposium held in Taiwan last year. Altogether more than 200 cross-straits scholars and guests attended the symposium. 50-odd scholars submitted 26 papers and exchanged view on the subject “Sun Yat-sen, Song Qingling and National Rejuvenation”. Professor Liu Fuhui, Doctor Liu Jie from our institute attended the symposium. Professor Liu Fuhui made a speech titled How Was the Mother of Nation Tempered on behalf of the symposium.
