Wang Longfei was born in Huangmei, Hubei province in 1985. He studied at Central China Normal University (Bachelor and Master) and Peking University (Doctorate) successively, and obtained his doctor’s degree in History in July 2015. He joined Central China Normal University after that and is now an associate professor in the Institute of Modern Chinese History. From February to August, 2018, he was a visiting scholar of the Institute of Modern Chinese History in Academia Sinica. In recent years, he has mainly studied the revolution history of the Communist Party of China, the history of the War of Resistance against Japan and the history of modern Chinese political parties, attaching special attention to individuals and organizations, thoughts and actions, systems and personnel in the changing society.
