Liu Qinghua, was born in Gongan, Hubei Province in 1981. He got his Ph.D. in History at Ecole Pratique Des Hautes Etudes of PSL Research University(PSL-EPHE). Heused to bea visiting scholar at EFR in France and is now a lecturer at the Institute of Modern Chinese History of Central China Normal University(CCNU). He is mainly engaged in the study of modern Catholic history, the history of Sino-foreign relations, the history of religions in China and the history of social culture , andsetsupthe course of "Religious Social History". His research interests include modern Catholic history, religious social history and the history of Sino-foreign relations.
