Li Minghui was born in 1991,whose ancestral home is Wuhan, Hubei Province. From 2009 to 2013, she studied in the Literature, History and Philosophy Base class of Shandong University and obtained a bachelor's degree in History; from 2013 to 2016, she studied atNorthwest Institute of Historical Environment and Socio-Economic Development, Shaanxi Normal University, and received a master’s degree in History; from 2016 to 2020, she studied in the Department of History at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands and got a doctor’s degree in History. Now,she is a lecturer at the Institute of Modern Chinese History of Central China Normal University(CCNU). Her main research interests include medical history of modern China, economic and social history, and the history of Sino-foreign cultural exchanges.
