The International Symposium “Sinicization of Modern and Contemporary Christianity – the Rese

          At 9:00, on 9th November, 2013, co-hosted by Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Center of China Christian Studies, Fujian Normal University, the international academic symposium titled “Sinicization of Modern and Contemporary Christianity – the Research of Christian Localization from Multidisciplinary Perspective” was held in Manor of Song-Ming Neo-Confucianism. Nearly 60 people from political circle, academia, business and media attended the symposium. They came from America, Canada, Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. The symposium had a unique perspective and consisted of a variety of topic selections. The scholars made discussions on multiple subjects including “Globalization and Sinicization”, “Christian Sinicization and Politics”, “The Exploration of Sinicized Christian Theological Ideas”, and “The Regional Research of Christian Sinicization”. The experts and scholars gathered together for the interaction of ideas and dialogues. Because of the logic deepening of each topic, the level of the symposium was further improved.
