Zheng Chenglin

        Zheng Chenglin, who was awarded the title Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, was born in Hongan, Hubei province in 1973. At present, Zheng is the deputy director of Institute of Chinese Modern History, secretary general and committee member in History Teaching Committee of Ministry of Higher Education, devoting himself to teaching and studying social and economic history of modern China, the history of chambers of commerce in China, nongovernmental chambers of commerce, and exhibition economy.

From Bilateral Bridge to Multilateral Network: Shanghai Banking Association and Banking, published by Huazhong Normal University Press in 2007.


A Compilation of the Files on the Chamber of Commerce in Suzhou (volume 1-6),published by Hubei People’s Publishing House in 2000. Zheng Chenglin is one of the main compilers. Comprehensive History of China’s Economy (vol.8, the second half), published by Hunan People’s Publishing House in 2002. Zheng Chenglin is the writing participator.


Business Guilds in Modern China and Contemporary Trade Associations, published by China Renmin University Press in 2004. Zheng Chenglin is the writing participator.


The 1911 Revolution and China in the 20th Century, published by Hubei People’s Publishing House in 2001. Zheng Chenglin is the editing participator.
